Admission to Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School is open to young men who achieve a satisfactorily competitive score on the school's entrance exam. Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School operates under a rolling Admissions Policy, meaning we evaluate applicants throughout the year.
All prospective freshmen must complete an Application for Admission and take the Scholarship & Entrance Exam in order to be considered for admission to Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School. All prospective students should complete an Application for Admission prior to the exam.
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Buffalo shall not discriminate on the basis of race, sex (unless a single-sex school), color, national and ethnic origin and age (in accordance with the law).
Instructions - Parents/Guardians:
Complete and submit the application. You will receive an email response containing a consent form. Print and return the signed consent page to the applicant's current school. Completing this application automatically registers your child to take the exam at the school of his/her first choice. You will receive a confirmation from the first-choice school to take the exam on Saturday, November 23, 2024. After this date, please contact the high school of your choice for additional entrance exam dates.

Students who are presently in grades 9, 10 or 11 at another high school and wish to transfer to Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School should complete an Application for Grades 10, 11 & 12. Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School does not accept transfers into senior year, except for families moving into the WNY area.
Boys in 8th grade are encouraged to take our Exam Prep Course.
Entrance Exam Prep Course for 8th-Grade Boys
$90 per student includes test book & admission for the entrance exam at Timon Only.
Class dates are Wednesdays-- November 6, 13, and 20th, from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School, 601 McKinley Parkway, 14220.
