Capital Campaign
Like so many Catholic high schools, Timon remains competitive by offering the best possible educational experience for our students. The majority of funds raise annually support the current operations of the school - be it books, classroom supplies, technology, or financial aid so deserving young men can attend Timon.
Campaign for Growth Excellence Today & Tomorrow
In 1996 Timon conducted its first-ever capital campaigns under the leadership of Patrick Reilly 55 and raised over $1,600,000 for academic and facilities enhancements. The benefits to our students was immediately as they took classes in our new Center for Media & the Arts, had classroom computers with internet access, participated in gym classes on a new wooden floor and attending assemblies and liturgies in the auditorium with new theater seating. Timon also established an endowment for the express purpose of offering scholarships to students with financial need.
Timon for the Future
In 2002 Timons Board of Trustees conducted an in-depth facilities review and determined the need to further enhance the academic program. During phase one of our Timon for the Future campaign we were able to successful raise $750,000 to totally renovate our science labs by building our Science and Pre-Engineering Center. The labs opened in September 2003 and blessed by Bishop Mansell.
We are now embarking on phase two for this campaign to build a two story addition in the back of the building to house a fitness center. If you would like to learn more about this phase plase contact Kevin McLaughlin at (716) 826-3610 x 251 or at kpmclaughlin@bishoptimon.com.
